I wanted to showcase an entrepreneur today I met almost a year ago here at Plan to Start, that has a really amazing story of how she founded her company: a tea product for women. She became a fan of our blogs, and started reading them constantly. She reached out to me with some business problems she was having. Over the past year, she’s continued to contact me. I was really happy when I saw some of the progress she’s made receiving this email:
Amanda- I think I finally just stepped into my ‘President’ shoes and took control where it needed to be. I finally figured out that I actually run my own company and am allowed to make actual decisions, and it was a pretty cool revelation. Believe me, I really think I hadn’t quite grasped that reality yet. I also learned how to let go and allow the people that I entrusted to work with me do what they do best. It’s a delicate balance. Grasping the ‘being in control but not controlling’ thing.
